Large room size, free shuttle bus to ferry pier, good hot water shower
Soundproofing in the hotel leaves much to be desired!!! Smoky odor lingered in non-smoking areas!!! Clunky old furniture and stained bathrooms need urgent attention!!! Views from higher floors may disappoint!!!

great stay with minor food concerns
The room was perfect for two guests with a nice comfy bed. The location allowed for easy access to public transport, which was very convenient. I really enjoyed the breakfast, though it could use more vegetarian options like sautéed cauliflower and broccoli. Many guests appreciated the cleanliness and nice atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The breakfast choices for vegetarians were limited.

Here’s what you need to know
The location is truly convenient, just a short walk from major attractions. The room on the 17th floor was spacious and comfortable for two, and the staff, especially Frankie at the front desk, were remarkably friendly and accommodating. A pleasant stay awaits, but some areas could use improvement.

The location was a standout, with buses and local eateries within easy reach, making our travels convenient. The room on the 17th floor was notably spacious and comfortable for two. Staff interactions were a highlight. the front desk personnel, particularly Frankie, provided attentive and friendly service. However, the breakfast menu lacked sufficient vegetarian options, and the 'Travelmate' device intended for guest use had inconsistent internet connectivity. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was enjoyable and truly value for money.

I had a positive experience during my stay at Holiday Inn. Despite its age, the staff was attentive and accommodating, particularly a housekeeping gentleman who promptly provided extra coffee and ensured I had ample supplies throughout my stay. Additionally, the complimentary Handy smartphone offered free calls and data, which greatly assisted me in navigating the city. I was also able to conveniently walk to major tourist attractions within 20-25 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel is undergoing renovation, and certain areas show signs of age.

I had a fantastic stay with a lovely spacious room, and the nice hot shower was a cherry on top. However, some dining options didn't quite match the photos—they looked more inviting in the pictures! I'd definitely come back again.

Family with children’s recommendation
I got to know the staff over my stay, they were like family! when I needed coffee, they were swift and attentive, making sure I was never low on supplies-like a well-oiled machine.
It came at a price, but honestly, it’s what you expect.
